Brandon & Lindsay’s intimate wedding at The Boulders Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, was truly magical. Set against the stunning backdrop of giant boulders, surrounded by their loved ones, the couple exchanged the sweetest vows. Their choice of a family dinner table-style reception added an extra layer of warmth and closeness to the celebration. I’m so happy I was able to document this lovely wedding. This beautiful wedding that culminated at the Boulders Resort really hit me with all the feels. Seeing Cody & Amanda enjoy their amazing wedding day and also take special care to honor the memory of Cody’s recently passed father was quite the emotional journey for me. As someone who also lost a father way too soon, I could feel all the emotions bubbling up with Cody in those moments of remembrance that were shared during the reception. What a joy it was to be a small part of this amazing wedding.

Hiding two families and a production team along a golf course that’s only dotted with desert plants isn’t as easy as you’d think. After several false sightings (leading to many panicked attempts to find the perfect hiding spot), everyone’s nerves finally evened out. Peeking around tree trunks and random cacti to see if Blair could pull off the surprise proposal of the year, all we could do was anxiously wait for the moment to happen. And what happened next was absolutely magical…..
